The year is almost over! And because Joe could not organise a summer meeting this year, i must visit him at the ‘Abschlußgrill’ (year-end-barbecue) which he also organise every year.
The environment gives tou the feeling of beeing on a vacation! Totaly different as where i live!
Dieter invited me to stay at his place, so i could drive the route to Vöhl (Germany) in 2 etappes. So this year it was the first time i decide to drive the 350 km to Vöhl, and come over for a piece of meat. 😉

A month ago, I received an invitation to participate in a report for the Dutch 4WD Magazine. And the report was made today at the event site, “WaterGoed” near Valburg.
The intention was to test the differences between 3 similar cars. In this case, a Suzuki LJ80 (mine), a Suzuki Jimny, and a Suzuki Vitara.
Actually it was the intention to test four cars, but the owner of a Suzuki Samurai had canceled at the last minute…

Alle Dakar voertuigen zijn inmiddels ingescheept, en onderweg naar Zuid Amerika! De kapitein van de Grande Roma zal er alles aan doen om ervoor te zorgen dat alle voertuigen op tijd aankomen.
