Road closed

Last summer, we drove the Trollstigen mountainroad at the Geirangerfjord in Norway with 6 Suzuki’s LJ80. The weather was pretty warm and sunny, and from the top we had a nice vew down! We walked the path to the viewpoints, and made many photos. Some of us walked through the icecold water into the snow which was still there…

Back to 1988

The Suzuki importer (Nimag BV) has organized an annual meeting for their 4×4 customers. In two days, there were more than 1000 Suzuki’s coming to this meeting. And while dads had fun at the offroad track, the kids had plenty of fun on the mini quads, or the inflatables!

 

Well prepared

This LJ80 is well prepared for the winter!! 😀

Nog 46 dagen geduld aub…

Vanaf morgen worden alle deelnemende voertuigen aan de komende Dakar Rally ingeleverd in de haven van Le Havre voor de verscheping naar Zuid Amerika. De teams zijn dus nog druk bezig om alles in te pakken, te sorteren, en te stouwen. En zelfs aan de auto’s, trucks en motoren wordt nog een laatste hand gelegd… Een race tegen de klok dus, zoals ieder jaar weer!

Winterscan

This year, the weather forecasters predict a very cold winter in Europe!
Fortunately, my LJ80 has got a free winterscan at the dealership. My LJ is ready! (ok, such a scan gives no guarantee that the LJ will start all winter long without problems!)

En dan met name 1 pagina uit hun uitgebreide website! De redactie is namelijk in het Suzuki Plaza in de Japanse stad Hamamatsu geweest. Een interessant museum waarin de hele geschiedenis van Suzuki wordt weer gegeven, en waarin wordt laten zien hoe men auto’s ontwerpt en bouwt.
